Cross of the Kirk Earrings

Inspired by a wooden carving in the church beside our Orkney Workshop. The date of the carving is not known, it may belong to the early 18th century when the church was built or it may be much older.

Sheila has interpreted the cross in sterling silver and crystal enamel with some designs including an oval gemstone. This collection celebrates the re-opening of the old parish church as the new Kirk Showroom, a unique exhibition space for Sheila's distinctive designs.
