Luckenbooth Ring

Traditional ring utilising the design, which features two hearts and a crown.

This design is said to represent Mary Queens betrothal brooch from the Dauphin of France, hence the 2 intertwined hearts and the crown, as she was Queen.

One theory is that they take their name from the stalls or booths, where they were on sale, near St. Giles,in Edinburgh, the luken from locking or else look in.
